Walmsley Dental is now in its second generation. The practice was founded on Manchester Road in 1984 by Stephen and Heather Walmsley, and is run today by their son Dr Edward Walmsley (GDC No. 202897) and his wife Emma Walmsley — making us one of the longest-established dental practices in Tameside.

What if I need bone grafting before I can have implants?

Bone grafting and sinus lifts are quoted separately and depend entirely on what your CBCT scan shows. Many patients we see initially worried about bone don’t actually need grafting once we’ve taken the scan. We’ll give you an honest assessment at consultation — and we won’t recommend grafting unless it’s genuinely necessary.

Can I see a written treatment plan before I commit?

Yes — every implant patient leaves their first appointment with a written treatment plan and fixed quote. The £50 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any treatment you choose to proceed with. Nothing is booked until you’re ready.
