My first time visiting this practice, as I am new to the area. Dee welcomed me with a big smile, was very professional and patient with me, and is very knowledgeable.For me personally I did not like the loud radio in reception, as this exacerbated my anxiety whilst waiting. I was also surprised that treatment deposits are required, perhaps this is normal for Manchester.However my main criteria was that I saw a kind and professional dentist, and this was certainly met, so happy to give five stars.

Over the last few months I’ve had to have a couple of extractions and a new denture. I’m quite a nervous person and suffer bad anxiety. My appointments were with Mr Dipak Basi and his lovely assistant, who made me feel at ease and explained everything before starting. And gave exceptional service and care. There have been a lot of changes over the last few years but I can honestly say for the better. New technology, lots of new faces. We now see Ava who is amazing. I would never use anywhere else.

Not a fan of dentists in general so took some time to look for the right place. My first visit was to fix a root canal which was a bit infected. Great advice, really quick turnaround and very happy with the result.So much so I decided to finally get braces. Really great experience with Dr Emma and her team. Always detailed explanation on the process, what to expect and upcoming steps. Really good results as well. Everyone is really friendly and kind, always get appointment reminders and all the necessary documentation and instructions so communication is very good. Would 100% recommend!

This is a fabulous dental practice. I've been attending here for over 40 years, most of that time with dental surgeon Stephen Walmsley and now with dental surgeon Hannah Hodges, they've both been brilliant for me. Hannah repaired a cracked tooth for me this week and she did a great job, it's as good as new. And all the staff are friendly and helpful, special mention for Carole, Loren and Sumera.

Great service from Dipak today. The service received was superb, and his professionalism was second to none. Keep up the great work Dipak, you are doing a great job and the practice is lucky to have a member of staff who provides a great customer experience...As Google won't allow a further review i wanted to say a big thanks to Dipak and Neeve for the brilliant service I received on my subsequent visits. I have been attending this dental practice since it's opening in 1984 under the wonderful Steve Walmsley, who has now retired. I have always had excellent treatment from both Steve and his very capable nurses and receptionists (got to mention Carol & Lauren) Since the refurbishments, which are great, I have been assigned a new dentist Depak who is excellent, so kind & caring, explains everything so thoroughly and answers all my queries with utmost competence. Just wish you weren't changing to private care.

Excellent on all fronts.Location great, all decked out in a professional manner but with though of relaxing patients of all ages.Staff always welcoming and you always get the impression they enjoy working there which of course isn't always the case.Nobody looks forward to a visit to the dentist but going here is as good as it can be and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I cant say enough Wonderful things about my visits to Walmsley Dental Practice. From the moment i started my treatment in march 2025 to the Present Date I have been Greeted with warm smiles and Genuine Care, I immediately Felt at Ease from my First Consultation.Dr Edward, Keeley and all the Staff at Walmsley are Professional and Incredibly Knowledgeable. Currently booked in for composites on December and my experience so far has been great. Informed every step of the way. After my first consultation i went away and i found i had more questions i needed to ask and change my plan, Ed didnt hesitate to invite me back in to discuss any concerns. I went bank and he put me at ease and answered my questions. Excited to complete my treatment and get my new smile

Ed and the team have made going to the dentist a safe and (almost) pleasurable experience. Ed is kind, knowledgeable and professional without being stuffy. Thanks to him I finally feel ok about my gum disease, I am on top of it and am looking forward to my future cosmetic work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the practice.

I received an appointment quickly and the wonderful Eva identified that I had a cracked root and the crown and root needed removal. The choice was mine and she went ahead and operated painlessly, efficiently and always with my well being paramount.She made the experience as good as possible. So so good.

Both Steve and I have been with this practice for a while now and find them very welcoming.Personally, I have had issues with anxiety due to my fear of the dentist, but Hannah has always made me feel calm. As well as Edward and his wife (sorry, I've forgotten her name) before seeing Hannah regularly.Sadly, I have been recently told they are going fully private in 2026, so maybe back to the drawing board to find an understaning practice.

Another very positive visit to Walmsley dentists. Been a patient here for 30 years now having previously had Stephen look after me. Today it was Ed the new owner, and Keeley and they fixed my damaged tooth very quickly and told me what can be done with it in the future to make it more of a permanent fix (I was personally time limited on this occasion) . This was very reassuring to hear knowing I can come back again and have the peace of mind of having it permanently sorted.

First of all can I say how lovely inside the surgery is, the decor is fresh and modern even when having treatment your minds elsewhere because of the ceiling screens showing calm scenes. I had an hygiene clean and a filling Eva was absolutely fantastic makes you feel at ease straight away always very professional asking if your OK during treatment, I've always been seen on all my appointments by Eva.Thanks EvaRegardsT. I am 4 months into my “straight teeth” journey and already can’t thank Emma and the team enough! From the consultation, to getting the initial brace fixed, the whole process so far has been flawless. They’re so professional, yet friendly and I can honestly say I actually look forward to going. Walmsley has been my family dentist ever since I can remember. I used to go once a year to see Stephen with my parents and my Brother. And now I attend with my own daughter. Although things look a little different now! ☺️So when it came to choosing my Orthodontist it was a no brainier! I am a very anxious patient and I'm petrified of the dentist. I had a few teeth composite bonded by Ed and the dental nurse keeley, they are both so nice and understanding. He takes his time with me which is so important when you get so anxious at the dentist. The composites look great and I didn't feel any pain. The receptionist lauren is lovely and chats with the patients which is nice. Brioni books you in and she's lovely too. I had a hygiene clean with verity today, I was that scared I nearly cancelled my appointment. She took her time, made me comfortable and kept checking how I was, which helped calm my nerves. All I can say is verity, ed and keeley you are all amazing and thankyou for putting up with me. I wouldn't go anywhere else now lovely dentist lovely people thankyou 💖

I can't rate this surgery highly enough! Absolutely amazing services. I've been so happy with all of the treatments and procedures which include, composite bonding across eight teeth, tear trough filler and botox. I feel like I'm given good advice and look forward to my appointments. All the staff are so lovely and there is just a great feel to the beautiful & modern practice. Definitely recommend Dr Ed Walmsley and his lovely staff.

In my initial telephone call to the practice to book an appointment, the Receptionist was absolutely lovely, I then attended my first appointment with Dr Edward Walmsley, Edward put my mind at ease straight away, I had all of the initial checks on my teeth, he then explained everything in such detail that would happen on my teeth straightening journey, he also took the time out with me being a new patient to explain a bit about his background and all about the Family practice, which made me feel absolutely confident that I had made the right decision to become a patient of his. Since that day, all of my appointments to see Edward and Keeley (his amazing assistant) have been a pleasure. I cannot recommend Walmsley Dental enough, they are an amazing team, from my first experience that day, the welcome at every appointment, the lovely relaxing waiting rooms, the friendly and positive attitude from all of the team. I really look forward to going to the Dentist, how many people can say that?? This is all down to the commitment, hard work and general dedication and such attention to detail that has gone into this practice over the years to make me feel this way. I'm only part way through my journey, I love seeing the regular updates on instagram of teeth transformations and I cannot wait to see mine as they are amazing so far and we're not finished yet!! The staff are making you feel very welcoming they are kind and helpful.I just had my wisdom teeth removed today by Dr. Edward Walmsley, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From the consultation to the procedure and follow-up, everything went smoothly. Dr Edward Walmsley took the time to explain the process, address my concerns, and ensure I was comfortable every step of the way. The procedure itself was quick and efficient, and I didn't feel any disconfort thanks to the team’s professionalism and care. Afterward, Dr. Edward Walmsley provided clear instructions for recovery, and the staff was always available to answer any questions I had . I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything went. From my initial appointment I have received the best care and advice from everyone at the practise. Dr. Walmsley understood what I wanted and gave me a clear process of what I needed to get my teeth and oral hygiene to what it should be. I have had 2 appointments with the hygienist, Khalid who was fabulous and efficient. I can’t recommend the practise and both Dr Walmsley and Khalid enough!

I have had a composite bonding polish today with Khalid and I’m really really impressed with the results! So happy! I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease, and told what was going on the whole way through! Definitely worth the money and will be back for another polish in the future. I've have seen Kal the hygienist twice now. After my first visit with pretty bad gum disease, I followed Kal's advice and 3months later my gums are no longer bleeding and my mouth health is much better. I would definitely recommend this practice. 👌

My wife has been to the hygienist Khal today and cannot praise him enough. As well as a thorough clean and scale gave her lots of advice on how to maintain her oral health. Very friendly and actually cares for his patients, definitely going to keep regularquarterly appointments to ensure her teeth and gums are properly cleaned. Would definitely recommend, can see the difference already. Great customer service.

I recently went to Dr Hannah for my Botox- after a bad experience with another practitioner she completely restored my confidence in the procedure. She’s kind and patient and genuinely the whole procedure was pain free (and bordering on relaxing!) Stark contrast from my previous experience. 5*s doesn’t do her justice - I don’t think I could recommend her highly enough

Had my sure smile braces fitted by Dr Ed W after my smile had become crooked. 6 months on and they are perfectly straight again.I'm very happy with the results. The staff at the dentist are wonderful and looked after me. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to get your teeth straight.....and for anyone who has had tram track braces in the 90s there is not gloopy impressions involved either....all digital.

Absolutely the best dentist around! 100 % worth the miles travelled over the pat 6 months .I got recommended Ed and Emma by a friend as I hadn't been confident to follow up treatment with other dentists . They both reassured me of the treatment plan, even contacting a professor for the best course of action moving forward.The results have been amazing , I am so happy with my smile now and only wish now I had been to them sooner . The whole process was so professional and Keeley was excellent at making me appointments to fit around my work schedule and travelling from Sheffield . Went for my first appointment and saw Dr Hannah. She was brilliant! I am usually really nervous at the dentist but Hannah made me feel really comfortable and put me at ease straight away.
