Emma graduated with honours from the Peninsula Dental School in 2015. Since graduating Emma has spent the past decade gaining valuable experience providing general dental care, working in multiple busy practices in both Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Manchester.  In 2018, she found her professional home at Walmsley Dental, where she quickly became a key part of the team. In 2022, Emma and Edward took over the family business, and since then, she has played a major role in its growth and development. With a passion for continuous improvement, she has been fundamental in shaping Walmsley Dental into the welcoming, patient-focused practice it is today.

Although Emma is skilled in all areas of general dentistry, her real passion lies in Orthodontics. She loves helping people of all ages achieve straighter, healthier smiles through both fixed and removable braces. Knowing how much a confident smile can boost self-esteem and overall well-being, she takes a personalised approach to each treatment plan, making sure it fits the unique needs of every patient. To expand her expertise, she recently completed training towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics. This extra training has helped her refine her orthodontic skills and stay up to date with the latest advancements, ensuring her patients receive the best possible care.

For the past two years, Emma has also been an educational supervisor, mentoring and guiding newly qualified dentists as they take their first steps into professional practice. She’s passionate about helping them grow in confidence, improve their skills, and provide top-quality care to their patients.
